** AVDL set to open at its highest since September 2025, if gains hold

** Danish drugmaker Lundbeck offers up to $23/shr for Avadel, including $21 cash plus up to $2 tied to sales milestones

** Offer comes weeks after Alkermes ALKS.O agreed to buy Avadel in $2.1 bln deal to enter sleep medicine market
